Ive used this app many times over the last few years. Unfortunately, either the scan option doesnt work or it continually tells me "item cannot be found". I always end up deleting it. Its such an awesome idea- I just wish it worked more consistently.

this app provides a much needed service to all people skeptical of what they are putting in or putting on their bodies. This app could have a larger database and more useful feedback when searching products. Like maybe a reason for why certain chemicals are bad, and more explained use of the app. This app needs to get out there, people need this app!!

I scanned a dozen products and none was in their database. They need to get it together and launch something that really works.

I have downloaded & re-dowloaded this app a few times (on an iPhone 4S) but it does not launch once on my phone. When I click "app support", it takes me to their website where I can sign up for a newsletter.... = no support.

Every product gives an error code. Not ready for release.

I am going to delete the skin deep app from my phone because I find very arbitrary the notes given to products. One example: brands of cosmetics containing phenoxyethanol or other known harmful ingredients get a higher note than organic brands without any known harmful component. This seems silly. Im removing the app.

It would be very useful, if it was properly working. Looking for a product by typing is really time consuming. Almost no barcode is found for the products sold in Canada. Then an annoying error message keeps showing, forcing me to shut the app: Application error Cant find variable: topTipsScrollView at WelcomeWindow.js (line 1) Error messages will only be displayed during development. When your app is package for final distribution no error screen will appear. Test your code!

Only for products marketed in the USA. You should evaluate products of Brazil and Australia for example

My daughter loves go scan potential products before buying. Its "cool" to be smart!

This app is all that i need, used when i need to find safe cosmetics during my pregnancy.

I waited for something like this. Great app and very helpful. Thank you.

Use it all the time, one of the best app ever! But not really much products (even from well-known brands..)

Highly recommended yet database needs build up!

After trying this app, I do find this app very useful while youre going shopping. There are many shortfalls of this app however, 1: using the scanner to scan the barcodes yields may be a 5% hit. 2: if a product is not found in the list the app should allow the user to take a picture of the front of the bottle, the back of the bottle, the ingredients and barcode. Then when done it would send it to the support team to validate and added to the database. 3: when looking at a specific product they should also include a list of ingredients under one page instead of separating it into three sections. Like I said before this app has potential but it needs to be programmed. I cannot give it more than two stars since the app cant perform the above features which I find as the bear necessity to upload and document the product

I always go right to this app everytime i want to know if it is safe. Especially if it has anything to do with my baby. Love this app

Finally something that can start to make a small change. App has some technical glitches and database still needs to grow, but Im so happy it exists .

Ive had this app for years and use it often. It allows me to be an informed consumer and make better decisions for my family.

Love that this information is at the tip of my fingers all the time!
