Anything I scan shows up as "unknown". Great concept for an app, if only it actually worked...

This is a great tool! I love how all the ingredients are individually rated. The barcode doesnt seem to work, however, the search engine works just fine. Not all products are in their inventory. To expand The pool of products within the app, I would suggest that EWG develop a tool for consumers to suggests products to be reviewed.

If you care about toxicity of products. So glad I found this.

Lack of product database and ingredients.

It cant find any barcode im looking for! Nothing! Zero result!

It cant find many popular products on the market, totally useless app!

I use and love EWG database on the web(desktop). Unfortunately the telephone app doesnt show the items which are actually present in the original database. I cannot find anything on the app.

I love the concept; however, the actual app needs some work. I tried to scan 7 different (and very common) items and it said they could not be found. Also, having photos for all of he products listed would be helpful.

I really like this app. The only problem is that I need to go to the App Store to actually start it. The ikon on my phone takes me to YouTube to the EWG promotional video. Could you please fix this? Thanks!

Tried to use the scan and nothing. Where do I find help?

Mad love. The scanning works incredibly quickly, and up pop meters for different categories of concern. The place to press to look at alternative products (with better ratings) could be more distinct, but pressing it instantly leads to EWG’s database of better rated products of the same category. I scanned the Naked Juice I was drinking and instantly learned a lot more about the product than a foodie/hippie like me thought he knew. Maybe some people are finding some common products unscannable because they’re not in the database yet, but that’s just a matter of expansion. I love this app and honestly cannot believe so powerful a tool for conscious consumption and making healthy choices in this polluted world of sneaky additives and denaturing food-processing is finally available, and for free. Bravo, brava, and mad props.
