Error message when barcode isnt found

It would be very useful, if it was properly working. Looking for a product by typing is really time consuming.
Almost no barcode is found for the products sold in Canada. Then an annoying error message keeps showing, forcing me to shut the app:
Application error
Cant find variable:
topTipsScrollView at
WelcomeWindow.js (line 1)

Error messages will only be displayed during development. When your app is package for final distribution no error screen will appear. Test your code!
